Vincent Curatola was on Broadway (actually a block away) on January 6, 2008 to join several Bronx, NY Veterans in enjoying a performance of the Broadway Show, "Chicago". See the photos here. On October 21, there is an event, which will benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Greater New York. The Kidney Walk is a 5K (3.1 mile) walk which will commence from the South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan . Participants are asked to meet on the North side of Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport on Walk day! The Walk will go to Battery Park and back. This year, as in previous years, Vincent Curatola (Johnny Sack), will “walk the walk” along with the walkers. In previous years, other Sopranos cast members have participated. Registration begins at 9:30 am, with the walk commencing at 10:30 am. To register on line, click here. Best known for playing the character of Johnny "Sack" Sacramoni on the HBO award winning series "The Sopranos", Vincent Curatola came into acting later in life. Residing in Englewood, New Jersey, Vincent Curatola, worked as a mason, until his lovely wife Maureen, persauded him to return to school to pursue the craft of acting. Vincent produced the 1995 movie, "Dearly Beloved" and recently appeared in the upcoming movie, "Fun with Dick and Jane" with Jim Carey. Vincent Curatola has also appeared in "2 B Perfectly Honest", "I am Woody" and has been cast as a regular on the NBC television series, "Third Watch". Vincent teaches acting at Studio Dante, in New York City with Michael Imperioli, Sharon Angela, and Nick Sandrow.

Photos are up and on line from the New York City premiere of "Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits" from the Big Apple Film Festical which was held at the Tribeca Cinemas in Lower Manahattan.
The movie, "Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits" which features Vincent Curatola as Johnny Slade's mentor "Mr. Samantha" recently won Best Comedy Award at the Blue Mountain Film Festival held at the Village of Blue Mountain in Ontario, Canada, from October 12 - 15, 2006.
"Johnny Slade's Greatest Hits" recently won the Best Comedy Award at the Wood's Hole Film Festival. Vincent Curatola played the character of Mr. Samantha in the story of the down and out lounge singer who takes musical direction (and more) from Mr. Samantha. Another Award!
"Johnny Slades Greatest Hits" won the coveted Best Feature Film Award at the 2006 Plymouth Independent Film Festival.
